As guests enter 900 N Michigan, they are greeted by the scent of pastries and freshly brewed espresso drinks of our 3 Greens Cafe & Bakery.  If pastries aren’t on the menu today, guests can experience Hogsalt’s greatest hits (with some new additions) through 12 unique food vaults on the fifth floor, 3 Greens Market, the Chocolate Bar and Aster Hall Coffee and Juice Bar.  Lastly on the 6th floor is the Aster Hall Bar and Study. Job Description:

Hogsalt Hospitality is seeking a National Culinary Director to join our leadership team that is able to provide guidance and support for all chefs and BOH teams on a global scale and lead new concept development.

Must believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time.  Must have the ability to positively lead others by practicing generosity and hospitality toward teammates and our guests while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining a fully functioning and efficient team of chefs.
  • Leads kitchen training and development.
  • Attend yearly budget meetings.
  • Upholds Hogsalt standards and implements systems for quality control.
  • Monitor all BOH reporting and purchasing.
  • Analyzes and updates kitchen schematics for flow and function.
  • Create expectations, lead people, manage processes and hold people accountable.
  • Maintain effective communication, giving direction, support, timely feedback and recognition of performance.
  • Participate in the management review process, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Create appropriate developmental plans that help chefs define career goals and identify the skills needed to achieve them.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry that includes managing chefs.
  • Multi-unit experience with a restaurant or hospitality organization.
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees and managers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Analytical skills associated with strong P&L management.
  • Proven track record in building high-performing teams.

$150k-$250k based on experience

Job Description:

Hogsalt Hospitality, a Chicago based hospitality group led by Founder and CEO Brendan Sodikoff is seeking a Full-Time Office Manager.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, can work independently, has a willingness to learn and upholds the Hogsalt standards and their own. To be successful, this candidate must have strong computer and administrative skills.  Must have a passion for the restaurant industry with 1 to 2 years experience in an office manager role and enjoys working in a fun, fast paced, professional work environment.

The Office Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the company. The ability to multi-task efficiently with attention to detail is essential for success in the position. Experience with Excel and Quickbooks is necessary for this role.

Primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Process daily sales and deposits.
  • Process invoices and maintain vendor accounts.
  • Process biweekly payroll.
  • Process new hire onboarding and maintain HR documents.
  • Month end account reconciliation.
  • Maintain office supplies for restaurant.
  • Attend weekly manager meetings and take notes.
