Hogsalt is seeking an Executive Chef to join the leadership team!

Experience and Qualifications:

Facilities Repair Technician (Part-Time)

Job Description:

Hogsalt is seeking a Part-Time Multi-Unit Facilities Repair Technician to support our current locations and several upcoming projects already in the works. Even with the continuing challenges of Covid-19, our facilities department is busy with new tasks and projects as Hogsalt prepares for a return to growth in the post-pandemic world. Hourly Wage for this position is based on experience.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented with a strong initiative to take on a wide variety of tasks. The candidate should possess the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of directors, vendors, contractors, and has proven capabilities in multi-tasking, problem solving and prioritizing workloads.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance programs to support the following
    • Plumbing
    • HVAC
    • Refrigeration
    • Kitchen hot line equipment
    • Grease trap cleaning
  • Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning and mechanicals, and any other areas that can be maintained to prolong the life of the equipment and prevent issues before they arise.
  • Ability to perform repairs in the following areas (but not limited to):
    • Plumbing
    • Electrical
    • Kitchen equipment and appliances
    • Light millwork
    • Painting
    • Doors
    • Tile work
  • Collaborates with other facilities personnel on various projects.
  • Responds to maintenance requests from stores in a timely fashion.
  • Performs regular property inspections.
  • Advises store managers on a variety of technical engineering issues.
  • Available on a 24-hour basis in order to address building emergencies.
  • Reports to Facilities Director, Facilities Manager and other members of the Director team.
  • Light millwork and construction projects.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours a week for shifts Thursday-Monday and Friday is an on-call shift.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a multi-unit facilities maintenance position.
  • Excellent operational knowledge of kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Experience with new builds and renovations.
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred, but not required.
